Abstract
This paper presents a large-signal analysis of a klystron amplifier. It is used Lagrangian approach and disk model theory in a one-dimensional analysis with emphasis in the effects of the presence of the space-charge force. After showing the result in the free space without considering the space-charge force, is added one that consider this force based on the Green´s function approach. Finally, some results for a cylindrical electron beam inside a circular waveguide are shown.
