  • Abstract
This paper presents a fictitious boundary condition (FBC) and yields an iterative domain decomposition method (DDM) algorithm for analyzing waveguide problems effectively. Further, a relaxed iterative algorithm is introduced to improve the iterative convergence. To give the explanation of the method, a model of a rectangular waveguide with E-plane discontinuity is established. For simplicity, the reflection coefficient and transmission coefficient of the primary mode in the waveguide are chosen as a numerical calculated example to verify this method.
