Abstract :
In high-speed digital and analog circuits, accurate and efficient prediction of rise time, time-delay, ground bounce, crosstalk and reflection is very important. Traditional quasistatic simulations cannot give accurate prediction. Traditional full wave electromagnetic simulation is inapplicable due to the limitation of computer resources. By applying LF-MLFMA, we efficiently and accurately simulate crosstalk between conducting structures. This is a full wave electromagnetic simulation. All frequency spectra are included. Lumped loads are included and the skin depth effect at very low frequencies is considered. The simulation is powerful, efficient and accurate.
