Abstract :
This paper presents a mathematical model, using a linear programming formulation, to find the optimum network topology that DND will need to meet its future requirements. The aim is to minimize the leasing costs of links with the constraint of a maximum link utilization/delay. The network must also provide at least two paths from any node to any other nodes. The traffic is based on analyses done to find and forecast the future requirements of traffic for DND. The resultant network model was simulated to verify that the constraints are met
