Abstract :
In this paper it will be shown a way to characterize RF Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs) by means of Scattering Parameters. This allows an RF engineer, to understand which are the mismatches of a specific device relatively to its ideal behavior. Several measurement results will be presented for different DAC configurations and compared with ideal responses.
