Abstract :
To improve the reproducibility of conducted EMI measurements, LISN (V-AMN) specifications, as well as the description of test methods, are to be amended. Recently, the measurement of the voltage division factor has been defined. For the LISN (line impedance stabilization network) impedance, a tolerance of the phase is being specified in addition to the tolerance of the magnitude. Also a minimum isolation between power and EUT ports is proposed as well as a minimum attenuation of 10 dB on the receiver port. For the test setup, guidelines for effective grounding of the LISN including guidelines for the avoidance of ground loops are given. As a result of some further investigations on cable layout, meandering of the EUT cable is preferred to bundling.
