Abstract :
Occlusion problem is a key issue in frame rate up conversion. In this paper we use three frames to provide an algorithm to detect the occlusion area and differentiate the covering/uncovering area for motion compensated frame interpolation. It aims at reducing artifact in occlusion areas.
