Abstract :
Dental ceramics sintering is a process that take several hours to complete. Microwaves, widely used in industry, can be used to sinter ceramics. Microwave sintering of dental ceramics seem to improve the mechanical properties of dental ceramics when compared with regular sintering, with lower energy consumption and reduced processing times.
