Abstract :
An effective VSSCS-LMS (variable step size constrained stability - least mean square) algorithm for adaptive beamforming is presented in this paper. Compared with CS-LMS algorithm, the proposed algorithm has a weight vector update equation with variable step size to balance the convergence rate and steady-state misadjustment effectively. Two adjustment factors in the formula of variable step size can be used to adjust the step size flexibly. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm convergences faster than LMS algorithm and obtains higher flexibility than CS-LMS algorithm.
