Abstract :
This paper describes architecture of composite device designated for acquisition of photopletysmographic and electrocardiographic data. Overall concept of whole device is described as well as its particular functional blocks, namely analogue front-ends for measurement of photopletysmography and electrocardiography and digital data manipulation unit. This device is primarily developed for education. Whole device is fully operational and is able to measure basic diagnostic signals from a patient.
