            Abstract :
With mathematical statistical methods, it introduced a research about the relationship between water environment quality and economic development in Meiliang lake. With the related data during 1991-2005, a typical regression model between water environment parameters and GDP was established. The analytic results reveal that the eutrophication level and economic development in Wuxi Meiliang lake basin is in a confrontation stage. Recommends vigorously strengthen the building of ecological restoration, and long-term planning in the completion of a tripartite coordination mechanism among government, enterprises and public to achieve the coordinated development of regional environmental economy.
