Abstract :
Design of a single H∞ controller for a missile is introduced in this paper. The flight control problem is a challenging control problem due to the uncertainties included. A multimodel design concept is used to solve this challenging control problem. The control system developed in this paper has two loops. The inner loop is a state feedback and the outer loop is the H∞ controller. The inner loop reduces the uncertainties in the linearized models and the H ∞ controller in the outer loop ensures robust stability. With the control scheme explained here, the missile investigated was controlled using a single H∞ controller. The design steps and the simulation results are given in the following sections
