Abstract :
CPW-fed triangle and upside-down triangle patch antennas are presented. In the antenna design, the offset distance from the patch center to the open-ended slot center, can be used to tune the input impedance on both triangle and upside-down triangle antennas. In the situation of input impedance matching, the center frequency, antenna bandwidth and radiation patterns are compared between both antennas.
