Abstract :
In this note, the problem of stabilizing of nonlinear affine system based on concept of modal state feedback control. The key idea is to transform the switched nonlinear system under an arbitrary signal to a switched linear model without resorting to any approximation. Then a control law will be designed to guarantee global stability by the means of Common Quadratic Lyapunav Function (CQLF). The implementation and efficacy of this approach are illustrated through simulations using chemical process example.
