            Abstract :
This work presents the shaping of axis-symmetric dual-reflector antennas with a uniform-phase aperture illumination. The shaping procedure is based on the consecutive concatenation of conic sections, in order to provide a desired aperture-field distribution under geometrical optics (GO) principles. The procedure is simple, has fast numerical convergence, and is valid for any circularly symmetric dual-reflector configuration. To illustrate the shaping procedure, an axis-displaced Cassegrain (ADC) is designed to provide a uniform aperture illumination. The GO shaping results are validated using accurate method-of-moments analysis.
