Abstract :
A flow-through architecture, the hierarchical integrated operations architecture (HIOA), and an operations process control system (PCS) for flexibly developing operations systems (OpSs) by separating the flow-through control function from OpSs is proposed. HIOA is based on the PCS, which has data-transfer functions, operations flow control functions, etc. Also described are the functions that PCS and OpSs must include to achieve flow-through operations
