Abstract :
In reality, personal mobile devices operate in an individual environment moving with the user in the information space. Such an environment consists of many different sources of information and services. This paper presents a framework of using one global auto-assigned, private (non-Internet-routable) IP addresses for mobile devices to offer simultaneously delivered services from the infrastructure network, the local and ad-hoc environments. Our novel global wireless framework proposed in this paper solves the problems of integrating an ad hoc network with the Internet, providing an ad hoc multi-hop communication and expanding the services boundary of the ad hoc environment to the infrastructure world.
