            Abstract : 
A new technique for the design of series-fed linear arrays of slot-fed printed patches is presented. A small set of design equations has been derived to describe completely the array behaviour, and is used to determine the array geometry to get a prescribed pencil-beam pattern and input match. The design procedure has been checked by numerical simulation of the designed arrays, obtaining, in all cases, a complete fulfilment of the design requirements structure.
