Abstract
The AIRTRANS Simulation Model (ASIM) is a Vought proprietary computer model which simulates the operation of AGT vehicles that are in use at the Dallas/ Fort Worth Regional Airport. This model enables one to study different routes or expansion of the guideway to obtain accurate performance characteristics of the system at modest cost. This paper describes the development of this model from its first use in 1971 to the current studies that have just been completed. These studies have been funded by Vought, D/FW Airport and the U. S. Department of Transportation.
