Abstract
The purpose of a reflector antenna is to confine most of the electromagnetic energy over a distributed aperture into a focal plane for communication or energy transfer; whereas, the purpose of this article is to focus a good portion of the history of reflector antenna development over a large time frame - including present and future - into a few pages.
