Abstract :
During the course of the last two years a Sub group in the frame of Southeastern European Transmission System Operators Task Force (SETSO TF) has been dialing with different problems for design and elaboration of a Regional Balancing Market (RBM) based on TSO-TSO model. This paper describes the technical and economical analyses for South East European power systems and the results, which induce the countries toward more active participation in the processes of establishment of the common power balancing market.
