Abstract :
We propose a new, more efficient philosophy of train control on the raylway. It is based on the idea that more than one vehicle is accepted within one and the same railway section in the same direction. Also no cost expensive interlocking technology is needed. Additionaly a new train scheduling system is proposed for optimisation of the railway operation which is based on genetic algorithms.
