Abstract :
A quantitative design method for an array antenna above an infinite ground plane is proposed. The method takes into account the mutual coupling between elements. The proposed method is based on the differential property of the input impedance and current of each element, when a length of an element is varied. It is shown that the desired current distribution and radiation pattern were almost obtained by using this method.
