Abstract :
In this paper, we present theoretical estimations of the spurious-free dynamic range for first and second order MMIC filters based on two different recursive active filter topologies. For a given relative filter bandwidth together with given values of the noise figure and the third order output intercept point of the low noise amplifier used in the recursive active MMIC filters, we estimate the highest possible filter spurious-free dynamic range when the filter noise figure is approaching that of the low noise amplifier
