This paper presents the new transmission technology which promises large capacity to high speed π/4-DQPSK based on a newly proposed analytic receiving and strict sense envelope detection. Such degradation as caused by Gaussian thermal and frequency selective fading are recovered through differential detection both for amplitude and phase
