  • Abstract
Accreditation of these degrees may be as MEng and BEng(Hons) degrees appropriate for the Chartered Engineer section, or BSc, BTech and similar degrees appropriate for the Incorporated Engineer section of the Engineering Council register. Accreditation is able to be awarded by different institutions for each of these two main types of degree: the IEE, together with other Chartered Engineering Institutions, considers CEng degrees for accreditation and the Institution of Incorporated Engineers considers IEng degrees.
