Abstract :
The characteristic spectral line provides a basis for the ship identification and location tracking, therefore, the research on extracting the characteristic line spectrum has important significance in practice. The method combining Welch algorithm with Chirp-Z transform can extract the spectral line from the ship-radiated noise effectively. Both the simulation signal and the real ship-radiated noise were analyzed. The results demonstrate that the method is convenient and able to extract characteristic line spectrum accurately. And the spectral resolution can be up to 0.36Hz. In addition, according to the extracted characteristic line spectrum, the filtering interval was set to filter the original signal of the ship radiating. By processing the filtered data, the ship-path could be tracked exactly.
