Abstract
This paper deals with the application of warped linear prediction (WLP) to frequency warping of audio signals. It is an extension of linear predictive coding (LPC) frequency-warping structure which adds frequency warped analysis filter for variable frequency resolution. This allows to achieve improved spectral estimation or lower filter order compared to the LPC based structure.
