Abstract :
In order to rapid communication between earth stations in satellite communications on the move (SOTM)system, the calculation methods of antenna´s initial alignment which is one of the key technologies is studied. The earth´s actual shape is ellipsoid and the spread of satellite signals is influenced by atmospheric refraction, so the azimuth angle and elevation angle are modified. Using these modified angles in initial antenna´s pointing, system response is accelerated and good initial position is provided for the following tracking process.
