Abstract :
In order to increase the application rate of the coordinated control system for power plant, the milling units are directly connected to the boiler burner, which has a great influence on the combustion efficiency of the boiler. However, the traditional methods can not accurately measure the amount of coal mills powder. Based on the dynamic mass balance, a new soft measurement method to estimate the amount of powder is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the main factors, which affect the amount of powder, are analyzed according to practical mechanism. Secondly, with the condition of dynamic mass balance, the cumulative coal is utilized to estimate the amount of powder. Finally, the least squares method is used to identify the model parameters. Compared with the existed approaches, our model has obvious a lot of advantages for its explicit mechanism and computation efficiency. Experiment results on a real coal pulverizer with 2 inputs & 2 outputs show that the proposed measurement method has an average accuracy of 94.4%, which well meets the requirement on the estimation of coal powder of the power plant.
