Utilization of the cycle computers for an endurance test of the railway pantograph

The cycle computer was used as a back-up counter of performed cycles of the railway pantograph. The cycle computer was used instead of an industrial counter as a cheap temporary substitution. The cycle computer operates all the time with good reliability, and its precision was also sufficient. This paper summarizes the experience and comparison of the data measured.
