Abstract :
The aim of the paper is to study the electrical and thermal properties of Bi2O3, PbO and mixed oxides of Bi2O3-PbO system (Bi12PbO19 and Bi6Pb2O11). The specific dark conductivity of structures under study was found to be quite low ∼ 10-12 10-14 Ω-1m-1 at room temperature. Thermal conductivity of Bi2O3, PbO and bismuth-lead-oxide compounds were found to be quite high: 1.3 -2.2 W/m-K. The paper also reports on the investigation of temperature dependence of thermal conductivity within the temperature range 290-670 K.
