Abstract :
Based on the mode-coupling theory, the Bragg grating assisted mismatched coupler is theoretically analyzed for the operation in LP01 mode. The equations governing the coupling phenomenon are obtained by numerical simulation. The design principles of the Bragg grating assisted mismatched coupler for wavelength-division add-drop filter application are presented
