Abstract :
A Ka-Band even harmonic quadrature modulator has been developed for implementation in a low cost satellite communications briefcase terminal. The packaged modulator´s conversion loss was measured to be less than 11 dB, sideband suppression better than 16 dB and carrier suppression of 35 dB over the 29 to 30 GHz frequency range
