Abstract :
Foresight is an advanced systems modeling and simulation tool set developed for use by systems engineers and developers of complex embedded systems. Foresight distinguishes itself with three key advantages: an intuitive, highly graphical systems modeling language based on extensions to popular modeling notations currently used for systems engineering and development; modeling constructs that are comprehensive and expressive enough to capture all key aspects of complex systems: functionality, dynamic behavior architectural performance, and information flow; an integrated and extensible tool set for constructing, simulating, and analyzing system models in support of systems development and systems prototyping. This paper describes Foresight´s modeling language and supporting tool set
