Abstract :
To test STM-16 optical communication system, a VXI-based SDH protocol analyzer is constructed. VXI bus is a kind of outstanding instrument bus for ATE (auto test equipment). The core module of the SDH analyzer is FPGA, which can be reprogrammable. So it is convenient to add or reduce test function. In this paper, the payload, overhead and point analysis procedures are listed firstly, and then the signal source control and correspondence software are introduced. At last, the design is proved by SignalTap II embedded logic analysis instrument.
