Abstract :
The author discusses several problems relative to TPS, a rapid thermal endurance test method for insulating materials. It is noted that, although the test temperature of thermogravimetry is much higher than that of the conventional aging method, it matters little to the reliability of TPS. The accuracy of TPS is shown to be good. It is also shown that the possible nonlinearity of life line is unimportant for TPS
