Abstract
With the development of imaging well logging technology, more and more logging data must be transferred to the surface, but the present transmission technique in the logging system can not meet the demand. ADSL is an experiential technique used in the telecommunication network, its property of asymmetrical transmission is suited to the downhole data transmission. But affected by the terrible environment, the ordinary ADSL technique can hardly meet the needs. So, in this paper, we make analysis of the factors which will damage the quality of data transmission, and make some improvements on the ordinary ADSL according to the property of the logging cable. Experiment is provided to show that the improved ADSL technique can support the high-speed data transmission under the downhole terrible environment.
