Abstract :
In this paper, a novel method is proposed in which an artificial attenuation of time domain is inserted in the FDTD (Finite Difference Time Domain) method. Also a new way of extracting the S-parameters is also presented under the new algorithm. An example is given showing that this method is effective in the numerical simulation of resonance circuits of waveguide type and the artificial attenuation does not create any reflection
