    Alexandria governorate has one of the most famous cities on the Mediterranean Sea. It has the major seaport of Egypt. It lies on the North West Coast of Egypt. Alexandria covers an area of 2819 Km2; the occupied area is about 37.4% from the total area. It has a length of about 80-Km with max. depth of 5 Km and min. depth of 500M only.
