Title :
Static priority queues with application to a computer network
Abstract :
An algorithmic method is introduced to calculate the waiting-time probability density function in a static priority queue with more than two priorities. The solution for a two-level queuing system is used as the stepping stone for the derivations. Also, a priority-based computer network is introduced to which the obtained results are directly applicable
