Abstract :
We develop a method for the linear coding of discrete time continuous amplitude source signals, on both SISO and MIMO FIR channels that minimizes the end-to-end mean square error. This is a joint source channel coding procedure. We develop two coding approaches and derive asymptotic performance limits for both of them.
