Abstract :
The response of nonlinear systems mainly depends on its coefficients. Extraction of these coefficients was studied in the frequency domain using an empirical approach. In this paper, we use the time domain approach to extract the required coefficients. The used time domain approach is a general one as verified from the obtained results and overcomes the limitations of the empirical one. Comparison between the frequency and time domain approaches were established. The effect of the time step size on the accuracy of results is shown.
