Abstract :
The effect of primary electrons on the discharge inception voltage was evaluated using the variation in photoelectron emission as measured by a microchannel plate. The variation of discharge inception voltage becomes small with increase of primary electrons, and it is seen that the voltage indicates the individual discharge voltage of air. Moreover, the Paschen curve changes according to the number of primary electrons
