Abstract :
This paper proposes a novel 2-layer grid-based continuous object tracking scheme (TGM-COT) in energy-limited wireless sensor networks. Analysis and simulation results demonstrate that TGM-COT outperforms previous algorithm TG-COD on achieving a higher tracking accuracy, and without sacrificing additional energy consumption.
