Abstract
A "panel" antenna can be defined as a directional antenna composed of a dipole, or combination of dipoles, in front of a flat reflector screen. The flat screen differentiates it from corner reflector or parabolic reflector types of antennas. This paper deals with a special version of panel antennas employing two dipoles side-by-side in front of a flat screen, providing special properties, The four properties discussed are principally derived from the extremely broad bandwidth provided by the two dipole configuration.
