Abstract :
Based on the principle that wavelet transform can calculate the correlation of wavelet function and the observed data, a signal detector is developed. It can distinguish pulse signal real-time from random noise signal. The detection process is analyzed with Mexican Hat wavelet and the first derivative of Gaussian wavelet. And the simulation experiment presents the validity of the signal detector.
