Abstract :
In order to locate partial discharge (PD) source in transformer, ATP-Draw simulates the propagation of PD pulses along the windings model. Then the method of PD locating based on the theory of Sectional Winding Transfer Functions is introduced in detail, and simulation analysis and calculations indicate this method is effective and applicable. Moreover, some researches are explored based on the same theory to locate two or more PD sources by ANN. These researches can afford basic theories to PD online-monitoring and system diagnosis actually.
