Abstract :
The stationary current versus applied voltage characteristics for vulcanized EPDM copolymer samples were investigated for different values of sample thickness, and for several metallic electrodes and ratios of alumina filler. The results show that both the bulk and the contact properties of the samples are important. A model, still under test, is proposed to explain the strong electrical field dependence (of roughly the esp(E1 2) type) observed
