Abstract
Direction of arrival (DOA) estimation is an important research direction in array signal processing field. The MUSIC (multiple signal classification) algorithm is classical super-resolution algorithm. Basing on exact model of antenna array, the MUSIC algorithm can estimate the DOA of signal accurately, but the resolution becomes low if the SNR or sample number is small. Min-norm (MN) algorithm is an improvement on the MUSIC, it can improve the resolution. Basing on analysis of the MUSIC and MN algorithms, the two algorithms are simulated and their character is compared in this paper.
